The Project for Better Health, Inc. is a non-medical non-profit organization seeking to improve the overall health of residents of the Jenkins County area. Since our start-up in August 2016, educational workshops, individual case management, diagnostic assessments, and referrals have been provided free of charge to anyone wishing to embark on a journey toward better physical, mental, and spiritual health. We strive to be the clearinghouse for services not currently available but needed for our citizens; along with our board, we are identifying programs and persons willing to make this happen.

The Project for Better Health, Inc. is a member of the Jenkins County Chamber of Commerce and the Georgia Charitable Care Network. We  are listed as a local resource with the American Cancer Society and are partnered with the Jenkins County Miracle Walk. As a member of the American Association of Kidney Patients, our organization has access to a library of downloadable and print-ready resources for patients and families. We are also part of the Advocacy Network of the American Kidney Fund.  One of our volunteers has recently completed the Kidney Health Educator training through the American Kidney Fund. We have most recently joined the AirMedCare Network (Air Evac 95-Statesboro, GA) as an Independent Representative.
